The
building was originally a two story structure faced with
stone and housed the S&W Cafeteria until 1932. The
building burned and was re-built in the mid-1950's; adding a
third floor and a decorative concrete block and metal panel
facade. During the 1987 renovation, the 1950's facade
was removed and an adaptation of the original design was
constructed using brick with stone trim to recreate the
quoined piers, arched window heads and cornice details.
